home.gifWelcome to The Croquet Academy

The Croquet Academy has been created as a centre of excellence for Croquet Tuition in the UK.

Located at Sussex County Croquet Club, near Brighton. The facility has 11 lawns and is one of the world's largest clubs. It's size and facilities enable the club to host major events and training courses.

A comprehensive programme of group courses have been created for players of all levels, covering both Association and Golf Croquet. In addition one to one coaching is available on request.

Courses are run by an in-house team of coaches, supplemented by guest specialists. It is hoped to run a series of Master classes presented by some of the World's top players.

A longer term aim of the Academy will be to train coaches, so that they can develop the game in their own region of the UK or overseas. It is hoped that Academy Coaching staff will also be able to conduct courses at locations throughout the UK.

Many thanks to Daphne Gaitley and her team of coaches for such marvellous tuition. The food was delicious and many thanks to Barbara Kitching and her helpers.

The launch of the Academy has been a great success. Every course run so far has been a complete “sell out”. The initial Golf Croquet weekend was totally oversubscribed and a second course was created at very short notice to dovetail in with the Association Summer School.
